OUTSIDE

Both the terrace and lawn are south facing and look out over the lake and towards the woodland. There is an enormous barbecue and cast iron pizza oven and table and chairs for outdoor dining. The terrace is level with the kitchen - sitting - dining area and it is as easy to bring food outside as it is to dine inside. Lights under the eaves make the terrace perfect for night time al fresco entertaining.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Central heating and hot water is produced by solar thermal panels and an easy to use wood-burning boiler stove in the extension. There is a free, unlimited supply of firewood for the boiler stove and wood-burner in the downstairs bedroom. There's nothing better than soaking in a deep bath knowing that the water has been heated by the fire downstairs!
